Nice little family-run place with good food! It's ambiance is quite nice, and there is plenty of seating.
Service is quite fast, especially considering the small staff.
If you're hungry and don't want to wait in long lines at the beach, pop over here! It's great! -

We had teriyaki beef which was overcooked and doused with a gooey sauce. The sushi was not good either. The vegetables were overcooked too.
We asked for a shot of espresso and they filled half a cup with it. When I asked if they could redo it and explain how we wanted it, they became testy but later apologized. Run away! -

I should have read the reviews. Stopped by at 11am to grab lunch. We ordered avocado rolls, salmon teriyaki bowl and sashmi for 35$. It took 25 minutes. MY son loves avocado rolls, rice is really important. The rice was nasty. I paid for sashimi but only ate the tuna and salmon . I took a bite of the yellowtail and it tasted rubbery. I've never experienced this before. So disappointed. I

I've visited this restaurant on a weekday in the early evening (around 6:30pm) only to learn that they don't do dine-in after 6 or 6:30pm. Just take out. But I didn't learn this until after I waited for someone to notice me after several minutes at the counter. Apparently they don't monitor the counter after 6:30pm too. When I was noticed, the teen boy couldn't give two rips about my casual disappointment. No apologies given, just a shrug of the shoulders. I left. I honestly love the food but the hours are silly. Who cuts off dining-in at dinner time? Indulge your dine-in customers. For that I give Tokyo Teriyaki two stars.

So the food is decent but the reason for the 2 stars is because on three different occasions I've come in and ordered brown rice and they never have it. If it's something you are not going to have regularly then don't have it on the menu advertised. Very frustrating when you are on a stricter diet and can't have white rice.
